Proven 2.5

The 2.5kw Proven wind turbine is the idea wind turbine for powering a standard 3-bed house in the UK. The output almost matches typical demand of such a house (electrical appliances only, not electric heating) and can provide a little power for exporting in some cases.

Several hundred of these turbines and its predecessor have been successfully installed world-wide. Surviving everything from hurricanes and cyclones to freezing cold temperatures in the arctic and scalding heat in the desert.

This all rounder is also aesthetically pleasing from a planning perspective due to it's height being similar to that of a 600 watt telegraph pole and overall physical scale being in tune with a domestic dwelling.

Proven 6

A 6kW turbine will give about 3 times more power than a 2.5kW wind turbine and therefore is better suited to a larger house or to someone who wants to generate an excess of electricity for exporting on to the national grid.

This turbine is an extrapolation of the technology used to design and build the 2.5kW wind turbine and is therefore just as reliable and robust.

Proven 15

The most recent addition to the Proven Energy product range is the Proven 15. This larger size turbine is ideal for light industrial, light commercial and agricultural use. With this sort of power you can easily power about 6 or 7 typical 3-bed houses in the UK (depending on your wind resource of course).

PELLET TOP

Biomass boiler with performance and combustion regulation system. Compact steel construction with heat-resistant firing chamber. Burns in downward direction (downburn technology). Performance regulation using induced draft fans and lambda sensor to control combustion and secondary air motor flap. Automatic heat exchanger cleaning device with large ash compartment incl. ashtray. Automatic ignition using energy-efficient glow pencil.

The high-performance suction turbine installed in the boiler transports the pellets from the end of the projection system (not included) into the integrated pellets storage container (60 litre capacity). The patented, single-axle rotary feeder ensures correct dosing of the fuel and 100% protection against burnback.>

Complete with modern regulation system and full-graphics display, simple operation using control knob, integrated, weather-controlled heating circuit regulation system for 1 heating circuit and 1 tap water storage tank. 32-bit processor with fully digital combustion control system. Updatable system (also via telephone). Remote maintenance and system checks possible via ISDN connection. The control panel can also be installed in the living area.

THERMINATOR II - Combi boiler

Therminator II ranges from 22kw to 60kw models. Therminator II is one of Solarfocus finest products, this combination of wood log and wood pellet boiler is the ultimate in wood burning technology. Therminator II has an efficiency rating of 93.1%, it has a built in eco managed system, Lambda sensor, bimetal pre heating valve, automatic ignition of both pellet and logs.

When you consider the advantages of a log wood boiler that has the technology to burn both wood log and wood pellets in the one burn chamber with automatic ignition of both wood pellet and wood log coupled with an efficiency rating of 93.1% this boiler offers fuel security and has to be one of the best solutions to Irelands Energy crises.
